- This amendment to the State Constitution provides for recall of the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, any elected member of the Cabinet, or any legislator. The recall process is initiated when a petition containing the name of the person to be recalled is delivered to the chief election officer of the state. When a sufficient number of signatures are obtained, a recall election is held to determine whether or not to recall the state official.
